Samina Vabo Ansari, is an Oslo based independent Consultant and has previously worked as the Head of Public and Corporate Relations at Equality Check, a Norwegian tech-company with the mission to diversify corporate governance globally.

Ansari, is also the Founding Director of Avyanna Diplomacy, a platform with the aim to connect social entrepreneurs from the Middle East and Central Asia to Europe for sustainable growth and stability.

Ansari has a background in Cyber Security Law from the University of Oslo/Maastricht Law School and Diplomacy from SciencesPo Paris. She is fluent in English, Norwegian and Dari.

Ansari holds multiple board positions, writes, holds presentations, conducts workshops, and facilitates dialogues on all questions related to Social Sustainability for the public and private sector.

Since 2014, Ansari has implemented large-scale social impact projects for North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the United Nations, the European Union, International Trade Center, Goldman Sachs 10 000 Women Initiative and the World Bank in the US, Europe, and Central Asia with a focus on Human Security, Inclusive Economic Growth, DE&I, Cyber Security and Geopolitical Risk.

Also, she has lived and worked in Kabul, Afghanistan (2015-2021), and actively worked on inclusion in the peace process.

Ansari is one of 4 siblings and born in Afghanistan. She and her family had to flee her birth country due to an ongoing civil war, they became refugees in Pakistan before receiving political asylum in Norway. As a true global citizen, she is passionate about connecting the east and the west through storytelling, relationship building, and social entrepreneurship.
